During the commission tour visited Government Secondary Kanya Ashram School in Taloda taluka – Lobhani.
Education facility for girls from 1st to 10th is available here. Learned detailed information about school premises, girls accommodation, bathrooms – toilet, security arrangements, food arrangements and other matters.
Enjoyed the atmosphere at the school and hostel while interacting with the girls. At first the girls were a little scared after seeing the police officers along with them, but then started talking to them without any fear✌️
During the official tour of Maharashtra State Commission for Women, on 27th July, we visited the Government Girls hostel for Tribal Students at Kothli, Tal. Nandurbaar.
Checked specially on the residential, sanitary infrastructure, cleanliness and security provisions at the Hostel and gave necessary instructions to the concerned authorities.
Visited sub-district rural hospital in Taloda during the commission’s Nandurbar tour. Reviewed the health schemes implemented for women in remote, tribal areas and facilities available in rural hospitals. At this time, interacted with female patients and relatives. Taluka Medical Officer Dr Mahendra Chavan gave information.

Visited Anganwadi in Dhamdai village of Nandurbar taluka. The kids welcomed with great enthusiasm.

During the Nandurbar tour of the commission visited the girls’ hostel at Maharashtra Government Secondary Ashram School – Sultanpur under the Tribal Integrated Development Project in Shahada taluka.

Visited Nandurbar District Legal Services Authority office yesterday. Chief Senior Justice Hon. D. V. Harne Saheb informed about the work of the authority – especially about the morale scheme. There was a discussion about the problems faced while getting help to the victim of abuse.

नाशिक दौरयावर असताना ग्रामीण पोलिस मुख्यालयाच्या कार्यालयास भेट दिली. यावेळी सहाय्यक पोलीस अधीक्षक मा. माधुरी कांगणे यांनी स्वागत केले.
ग्रामीण पोलिस दलाच्या वतीने राबवल्या जाणाऱ्या भरोसा सेल, महीला सुरक्षा समिती, Special Cell या संदर्भात चर्चा केली. पोलीस दलातील महिला कर्मचाऱ्यांची विचारपूस करून त्यांच्या अडीअडचणी जाणून घेतल्या.
112 आपात्कालीन क्रमांकाचे नियंत्रण करणाऱ्या कक्षाला भेट देऊन या यंत्रणेच्या अंमलबजावणीबाबत माहिती घेतली.
राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या मध्यवर्ती मुंबई कार्यालयापर्यंत पोहोचणे महिलांसाठी खूप गैरसोयीचे होते; त्यामुळे प्रत्येक विभागीय स्तरावर आयोगाचे विभागीय कार्यालय ८ मार्च २०२१ पासून कार्यरत आहेत. माननीय मंत्री महोदया यशोमती ठाकूर यांच्या प्रयत्नांतून हे शक्य झाले.

महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोगातर्फे नाशिक मध्यवर्ती कारागृहात महिला कैद्यांची भेट घेतली. यावेळी कारागृह अधीक्षक मा. प्रमोद वाघ यांनी स्वागत केले.
कारागृहातील सर्व महिला कैद्यांची भेट घेऊन त्यांच्या अडी-अडचणी जाणून घेतल्या, त्यांच्यासाठी उपलब्ध असलेल्या सुविधांची पाहणी केली व त्यानुसार सुचना कारागृह प्रशासनाला केल्या. महिला आयोगातर्फे कारागृह प्रशासनाला सर्वतोपरी सहकार्य करण्याचे आश्वासनही यावेळी दिले.

यावेळी कोरोनाच्या महासंकटात सेवाभावी पणे काम करत असलेल्या तालुक्यातील सर्व आरोग्यसेविका, अंगणवाडीसेविका, आशासेविका व मदतनीस यांचा सन्मान एकविरा फाऊंडेशनच्या संस्थापक अध्यक्षा डाॅ. जयश्रीताई_थोरात यांच्या संकल्पनेतून करण्यात आला असून त्यांना सन्मानपत्र, आरोग्याचे मोफत तपासणी कार्ड, जेवणाचा डब्बा, बॅग व एकविरा फाऊंडेशन चे आरोग्य विषयक माहितीची पुस्तिका देण्यात आली.

आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिनानिमित राष्ट्रीय घरकामगार चळवळीद्वारा आयोजित बदलापूर-वांगणी भागातील घरकामगार महिलांच्या मेळाव्याला बदलापूर येथे उपस्थित राहिले.
असंघटित कामगारांपैकी एक मोठा आमच्या घर कामगार महिलांचा आहे. ग्रामीण असो शहरी भाग असो नोकरी, बिझनेस, समाजकारण, राजकारण, कामानिमित्त बाहेर पडणाऱ्या सगळ्याच होतकरू महिलांसाठी घर कामगार महिला हा आधारस्तंभ आहेत. त्या नसतील तर निर्धास्तपणे आम्हाला बाहेर काम करणं अवघडच. स्वतःच्या घरासारखं दुसऱ्याच्या घराला सांभाळण सोपं काम नाही. त्यांचे प्रश्न आणि अडचणी अनेक आहेत. महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या द्वारे त्यांना जी काही मदत करणं शक्य आहे ती जरूर करेन.

“महिला पोलीस स्टेशन” ही संकल्पना बऱ्याच दिवसांपासून मांडली जात आहे पण प्रत्यक्षात त्याच्यावर आणखीन काम करायची गरज आहे.

जागतिक महिला दिनानिमित्त महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोग आयोजित प्रेरणा पुरस्कार सोहळा सह्याद्री अतिथीगृह येथे काल पार पडला.
आपल्या कार्यकर्तृत्वाने समाजामध्ये एक ओळख निर्माण करणाऱ्या महिला अधिकारी आणि कर्मचारी यांच्यामार्फत कार्यरत असलेले यवतमाळ जिल्ह्यातील लोहारा पोलीस स्टेशन , महिला सरपंच आणि महिला सदस्य असलेली औरंगाबाद जिल्हातील कन्नड तालुक्यातील टापरगाव येथील ग्रामपंचायत , आरोग्यसेविका माधुरी आहेर , ऍड.रंजना पगार-गवांदे , नकलाकार श्रीमती संगिता टेकाडे , सहायक पोलीस निरीक्षक श्रीमती सुरेखा धस , दिक्षा दिंडे , पोलीस उपायुक्त नियती ठाकर-दवे यांना यावेळी गौरविण्यात आले.
जागतिक महिला दिनाचे औचित्य साधून आरोग्य विभाग व महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोग यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने संपूर्ण राज्यभर ८ मार्च ते ८ एप्रिल या कालावधीत “मोफत आरोग्य तपासणी मोहिम” राबविण्यात येणार आहे त्याची घोषणा आरोग्यमंत्री मा.ना. राजेश टोपे यांनी केली.
यावेळी जलसंपदा मंत्री मा. ना. जयंत पाटील , उच्च व तंत्रशिक्षण मंत्री मा.ना. उदय सामंत , शालेय शिक्षण मंत्री मा. ना. श्रीमती वर्षा गायकवाड, पद्मश्री डॉ. इंदिरा हिंदुजा, मुंबई पोलीस आयुक्त मा. संजय पांडे हे प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून उपस्थित होते.
